Tier 1 Scouts

Tier 1 Scouts, LLC

Privacy Policy

Draft for legal review · Last updated October 20, 2026

This notice records the privacy practices confirmed by Tier 1 Scouts, LLC. Retention periods and service-provider disclosures still require confirmation before this becomes a final policy. It is not a certification of legal compliance or a substitute for any required parental notice or consent.

1. Who we are and how to contact us

Tier 1 Scouts is operated by Tier 1 Scouts, LLC, based in North Carolina, United States. This notice covers tier1scouts.com and its athlete profiles, recruiting coverage, rankings, combine results and contact services for boys and girls across all sports in grades 6–12.

For privacy questions, corrections, photo concerns or deletion requests, email info@tier1scouts.com. The company’s full mailing address and telephone contact must be added to any required children’s privacy notice before under-13 information is collected under that process.

2. Information on the service

  • Account and contact information: information supplied when registering or contacting us, such as a name, email address, account role and inquiry content.
  • Athlete information: names, schools, sport, positions, grade or graduating class, jersey or combine bib numbers, photos, season statistics, athletic measurements, workout results, verification details and submitted proof videos.
  • Public-source information: school and team rosters, published statistics and news articles, including links and source attribution. A profile may exist from a public roster before an athlete creates or claims an account.
  • Images: publicly available images or photographs taken by our staff. Public availability does not by itself establish permission, a license or parental consent.
  • Derived information: rankings, star ratings and athletic index scores derived from available statistics, coverage and verified measurements.

The sources and verification labels shown with statistics identify where information came from; they do not guarantee accuracy. Please report inaccurate information or disputed photo use using the contact address above.

3. How information is used

The service uses athlete information to present sports coverage and recruiting profiles, display and compare performance, generate rankings and ratings, and associate news coverage with athletes. Account information supports account access and submitted information; contact details support responses to inquiries.

Tier 1 Scouts, LLC states that use of information for advertising requires consent. Visiting the site, creating an account, or submitting statistics is not, by itself, advertising consent. This notice does not establish whether information is sold or shared for cross-context advertising; those practices must be confirmed before the final policy is issued.

4. Public profiles and third-party sites

Player profiles, photos, published statistics, rankings and linked coverage are visible to visitors, including coaches, media outlets, search engines and AI services. Public information may be indexed, copied or reshared outside this site. Do not include private contact details, precise location information or other sensitive information in public submissions.

Links to roster, statistics, news and image sources lead to third-party services governed by their own policies. Removing material from Tier 1 Scouts does not automatically remove the original publication or copies held by other websites, search engines or visitors.

5. Children and parental involvement

All account holders and registered athletes must be 13 or older. Birth dates are requested to check the minimum age. School grade does not establish age. Parents and guardians cannot register an athlete under 13; there is no parental-consent exception to this registration rule.

Do not submit personal information about a child under 13 through registration, statistics or contact forms. Parents may contact us about an existing profile, request review or deletion of a child’s information, or request that further collection or use stop. Do not send identity documents or additional sensitive child information in the initial email.

An age restriction does not by itself establish compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), particularly if the operator has actual knowledge of under-13 information or the service is child-directed. Public rosters and photographs do not replace any legally required consent. See the FTC’s COPPA guidance.

6. Access, corrections and deletion requests

Email info@tier1scouts.com with the subject “Privacy request,” a link to the affected profile if available, and whether you are requesting access, correction, removal of a photo, deletion or withdrawal of consent. Identify whether you are the athlete, account holder or parent/legal guardian.

To protect the person concerned, identity or parental authority may need to be verified before information is disclosed or changed. Do not email passwords or government identification in your initial request. Rights, response deadlines and lawful exceptions depend on applicable law; this notice does not limit rights you have under that law.

7. Retention, service providers and technical information

The company has not yet supplied its retention schedule, backup-deletion practices, complete service-provider disclosures or a confirmed inventory of cookies, analytics and other technical data collection. This draft therefore does not promise a particular deletion timeline, list unverified recipients, or claim that tracking is absent.

Those details must be reviewed and disclosed before the policy is finalized. Where COPPA applies, children’s information cannot be retained indefinitely; retention must be tied to the specific purpose for which it was collected and follow applicable deletion requirements. Hosting, account access, email delivery and externally loaded media or fonts also need to be included in that review.

8. Changes and consent

Updates to this notice will be reflected in the date above. Any legally required notice or renewed consent must be provided separately; continuing to browse the site does not waive privacy rights or supply parental or advertising consent. Questions about this draft should be sent to info@tier1scouts.com.
